Is a visa needed in Argentina?
A passport, valid minimum three months after entrance to Argentina, is enough if your are French, Belgium, Canidian or Swiss. For those staying not longer than 90 days, no visa is required for most nationalities. If you need to stay more than 3 months, you need to ask for a special authorization at the Argentinian office of migration.

Australia, Austria, South Africa, Germany, Barbadas, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Cyprus, Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Dominicanian Republica , Denmark, El Salvador, Equator, Spain, United States of America, Finlandia, Great Britain, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Haïti, Honduras, Hungary, Irlanda, Islanda, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Malta, Mexico, Nicaragua, Norwega, New-Zealand, Netherlands, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugual, Saint Marin, Saint Lucy, Singapur, Slovaquia, Slovenia, Swedland, Tchequia, Trinity and Tobago, Turquia, Uruguay, Vatican, Venezuela, Yugoslavia.

Nationalities accepted for 1 month without visa
Overseas Territories of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Jamaica, Malaysia.

Additional information

Argentina Excepción may, should you so requested, keep photocopies of significant documents at its offices in Buenos Aires: passports, flight tickets, health insurance, contact person in case of emergency, etc. In such case, we will ask you to prepare an envelope and hand it in to our tour guide or operations responsible as soon as you arrive in Buenos Aires.
Beware if you change of flight in the US; even for just a simple domestic flight,  US rules require the presentation of a passport with biometric data with digital photograph or biometric data in electronic chip. The process to obtain the compulsory visa will take time. Only an optical recognition passport issued before October 26, 2005 let you enjoy the benefits of the Visa Exemption Program.
